A little background on Steve:
Steve Long is the owner and program design specialist for Complete Fitness Results, owner of Athletic Revolution St. Louis, and co-owner of 2 other fitness businesses. Steve has made quite a name for himself in the fitness industry by being Voted Top 5 Best Personal Trainers in St. Louis in 2010, nominee for Boot Camp Owner of The Year in 2011, and voted as a Top 25 Industry RisingStar in 2011. Steve has trained a variety of clients ranging from ages 6 to 80 in over 8 years in the health and fitness industry. He has assisted clients in many aspects of heath, fitness, weight loss, performance training, nutrition, and more. Steve is known for his practical approach to training and blending the many benefits of corrective exercise into highly metabolic conditioning and fat loss programs. Steve has been mentored by, and continues to learn from the best professionals in the industry, bringing the mostcutting edge programs to Complete Fitness Results, other fitness trainers, and fitness enthusiasts everywhere.

We base all of our training off of FMS philosophies and screen all of our 1 on 1, semi private, bootcamp, and sports performance clients. At Complete Fitness Results we do a lot of large group (bootcamp) training, but unlike most bootcamps, we do everything possible to not sacrifice quality for quantity. Our large group training sessions are known for attention to detail and quality thanks to the FMS systems. Having a quality researched screening and corrective exercise system makes assigning corrective exercises and “red lighting” inappropriate exercises for specific issues possible. This makes our bootcamps one of the most customized group training experiences in the nation.
Why Steve has chosen to use FMS over all other screens:
I use the FMS over other screening methods, because of it’s ease of use for all experience levels of trainers and gives us a “language” and criteria based on normative data. This allows us to keep all of our trainers on the same page. It is also a time tested, researched, and proven method to find peoples weakest links and improve them by following a step by step system. The FMS educational material that is available played a major role in my career as far as taking the step from your average trainer to a trainer that sees the big picture.
