Register for SFMA Level 1
Nov 16-17, 2024, Westport, CT
This is a 2-day live event. The registration to this live course includes access to the SFMA Level 1 Online Course.
What is the SFMA?
The Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) is our clinical assessment for those who experience pain. It is a movement based diagnostic system which systematically finds the cause of pain - not just the source - by logically breaking down dysfunctional movement patterns in a structured, repeatable assessment. We are the first organized system that takes into account altered motor control – the inability to coordinate proper movements. This system allows us to identify the correct problems - mobility versus motor control – to best equip clinicians for a successful outcome.
What to Expect at the Live Course
Most of the live SFMA course is spent in practical sessions. Participants are taught the assessment with demonstration and then given ample time to practice, with opportunities to ask questions as material is covered. This framework ensures they are comfortable integrating the system immediately into their clinical practice.
Comfortable clothing you can move freely in is recommended.
