"Movement is Life... If you ain't moving, then you ain't living" One of my professors said that to me one day and it has stuck in my head ever since. That is how I approach every patient that enters my doors. I have been using an active rehab approach with my patients for the past 8 years, and seen dramatic improvements in their pain levels as well as their activities of daily living. I find that using the combination of the FMS and the SFMA, in conjunction with a thorough physical examination. allows me to see more potential causes for dysfunction than most providers. And those causes allow for a more complete approach to treating the patient's symptoms.
