Kyle Matsel

Dr. Matsel received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Evansville in 2011. After graduation, Kyle entered into a 15 month sports physical therapy residency program through ProRehab and the University of Evansville. Following residency, Kyle became a board-certified specialist in sports physical therapy. He is a full-time faculty member at the University of Evansville teaching in the physical therapy program and continues to practice as a physical therapist part-time in the outpatient setting. Kyle also serves as an instructor for Functional Movements Systems where he teaches courses involving the SFMA and FCS. He specializes in sports and orthopedic rehabilitation with an emphasis in injury prediction and prevention in athletes and is in progress to earning his PhD from the University of Kentucky where he is studying the shoulder and thoracic spine.
