Two Day Advanced Corrective Exercise Workshop
and/or...
One Day Functional Movement Screen Certification!
You asked, and we got it - again!
DV8Fitness and The Kettlebility Studio announce the two day Advanced Corrective Exercise Workshop, Oct 5-7, 2012 at the Kettlebility Studio, which will be instructed by Master RKC Brett Jones and hosted by Senior RKC Phil Scarito and Team Leader Andrea Chang. For those of you who attended any of our past Level I Certifications, or another elsewhere in the country, this is an opportunity you will not want to miss.
In the two day advanced workshop, Brett Jones dives into a deeper understanding of result interpretation as well as the corrective strategies of FMS. While practice makes perfect, knowledge is at the base of skill. No matter how well you conduct the Screen, if you are unable to effectively correct the imbalances identified, your ability to help a client is significantly impaired. This two day workshop, a hands on opportunity to understand and apply all of the corrective movements that Brett teaches, is a necessary tool to best enhance your skill.
FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE NOT FMS CERTIFIED, we are also offering a one day FMS Certification in addition to the Advanced Workshop in the SAME weekend - Friday, Oct. 5
Here are your options:
- The $450 option (Friday, Oct. 5, 2012) will get you into the one day Functional Movement Certification. This will be a full day of learning the basics and implementation of the seven Functional Movement Screen assessments. This is a certification and will require you to pass an exam to certify you as an FMS Instructor. Please note that after passing the exam, you are actually listed as a Certified FMS Instructor on FMS.com for potential clients to find you!
- The $499 option (Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 6-7, 2012) will allow you to take advantage of the two day Advanced Corrective Exercise Workshop. This is for FMS Certified Instructors only. Brett Jones will provide a deeper understanding of the corrective movements as described above
- The $700 option (Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Oct 5-7, 2012), perfect for both certified and non certified individuals, gives you the whole package of attending the one day FMS Certification/review as well as the two day Advanced Corrective Exercise Workshop. To properly assist yourself and your clients, it is imperative to fully grasp the basics before moving on to advanced strategies covered in the two day workshop. For those of you who are already certified, attending the one day FMS will give you a solid review of the FMS screen for a fraction of the price. Also, for non certified instructors who attend the one day certification, this option gives you the rare ability to take the Advanced Workshop without yet passing your FMS certification exam, better preparing you to do so. Truly a great deal on either end.
