Begin lying in the supine position with the legs extended straight and the shoulders fully extended overhead on the ground. Anchor a band around the arm so that it is on the opposite side of the arm that will be moving.
The band will provide assistance by creating stability around a fixed axis point. Begin to roll by lifting the arm and bringing it across midline with minimal movement from the other limbs. When rolling over, let the momentum of the moving arm bring over the rest of the body.
