Whiteboard Talks: The Origins of the FMS

Written by FMS Tuesday, September 4, 2018 Whiteboard Talks

What was the original intent of why the movement screen was developed in the first place? To help professionals know what you can and can’t do, from a movement perspective, to help make better decisions for exercise selection.  It is part of the injury prevention process, not the whole.  The FMS gives the professional information to know what the next steps should be in the development process.

FMS Co-Founder Lee Burton walks us through the foundation of the FMS, how the system works for the professional, and how we can all use the system to make informed decisions when it comes to programming.
