Lanny Taschuk
I have a bachelor or science degree in Kinesiology. I've been a Practicing Kinesiologist with the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists for the past 16 years, immersing myself into the specialties of rehabilitation, occupational health, athletic performance development, health and wellness. As an athlete myself I feel it's important to practice what I teach. I have over 28 years of strength training experience. In addition, I've competed in Ironman Penticton Canada 2011, Ironman Florida 2012, Ironman Canada Whistler 2013 and Ironman Arizona 2014. In the past I've also raced an ultra-marathon. All of this, despite suffering a compound fracture of my femur at the age of 14. I've been lucky enough to work with amateur to professional athletes; particularly hockey players. My goal is get people moving. Here's to movement! I screen every one of my clients.
