  • A continuum is a template, not a progression. 
  • Imagine a continuum as a map and a progression as a road trip.
  • Fitness professionals guide clients throughout this road trip (progression). 
  • Road trips (progressions) may include detours (injury or lack of adaptation). 
  • It is important to watch your clients level of competency at each step of the progression. If they are not competent, hold the line!
